T: OK. You have so much activities. And I have a friend. Her name’s Mary. She had a school trip yesterday. She felt very happy. Do you want to know what she did?

T: OK. (Show a picture of a farm on the screen) Where is it?
Ss:
T: A farm. 一个农场 Read after me.
Ss:
T: Look at the picture. What did she do on the farm yesterday? Who knows?
S:
T: She went for a walk. Pay attention to “went”. Went is past event. Past event means 动词的过去式。 Next picture. What did she do on the farm yesterday?
S:
T: She milked a cow. Pay attention to “milked”. “Milked “is past event. The next. What did she do on the farm yesterday?
Ss:
T: She rode a horse. “Rode “is past event. The next picture. What did she do on the farm yesterday?
Ss:
T: She fed chickens. “Fed “is past event. The next. What did she do on the farm yesterday?
Ss:
T: She talked with a farmer. “Talked” is past event. The last picture. What did she do on the farm yesterday?

T: She took some photos. Just now we learned some phrases. Now let’s review them. Who wants to try? (choose some students )OK. You please.

T: Well done! This group, read the two phrases......以此类推
Ss:
T: Excellent! Look at the sentence. Pay attention to “yesterday”. “yesterday ” means 昨天.It is a past time period. 它是表示过去的时间状语。
T: Today we’re going to learn past events. Please open your book on page 61. Unit 11 How was your school trip? Look at 1a. Let’s read these phrases together.
Ss:
T: How nice! Match the phrase with the picture, let’s do it.

T: Let’s check your answers. Who wants to share your answers? A girl in red?
S:
T: Next, 写下这些动词的原形。You have one minute.

T: Great! Look at the screen(句子和问答). Let’s make a dialogue. For example: You three come here(讲台). I ask one of them. “Did you go for a walk?” He says, “Yes, I did.” And I ask another, “Did he go for a walk?” He says, “Yes, he did.” And I ask the last one. “Did they go for a walk?” He says, “Yes, they did.” Thank you. Come back to your seat. Clear? You have four minutes to do it. (此时在黑板上写句型和回答)
T: Time’ up. Which group wants to try? Ok, The girl in red. (以此类推)

T: You’re so smart. Let’s come to 1b. This is listening, please listen carefully. Circle the three things Carol did on her school trip in 1a. Let’s listen.
T: Who wants to share? OK, the last boy in this group.
S:
T: Good! Let’s read them. (milked a cow, went for a walk, talked with a farmer.)
T: Let’s come to1c. Work in a pair. Ask and answer questions about Carol’s school trip. You have two minutes to do it.

T: Let’s summarize this lesson. Look at these verbs (present some verbs and their past forms on the screen). Who can find the rules?

T: Yes.动词变成过去时,一般情况在动词后加ed。Go, ride, feed take属于不规则动词的变化。
T: We also learned past period, like Yesterday. 表示过去的时间状语的词还有last week, last night,last weekend。
T: Let’ come to our homework. Firstly, recite and copy the verbs and their past forms. Secondly, make up a new dialogue talking about past event. Try to make the dialogue a little longer.
