【设计理念】
本节课的教学设计,以学生为主体,教师为主导,使英语教学与信息技术相整合,利用多媒体手段进行教学,通过情景设计,以听听、说说、动动、唱唱、演演等活动,并在课堂中运用多种方法促使学生多说、多用,形成自主、探究性学习,致力于激发学生学习的兴趣和参与积极性及建立培养自信心上,使学生真正成为学习的主人,让学生在轻松、愉快的气氛中自然习得英语。本课不仅要帮助学生掌握相关的语言知识,而且要让学生知道并了解万圣节的具体日期、由来、哪些国家过万圣节、西方家庭如何过万圣节和过万圣节所需的物品。同时培养学生英语的积极情感,在语言实践中,形成初步的英语语感,打好语音语调基础,具备用所学英语进行交流的能力,养成良好的学习习惯,为以后的进一步学习打好语言、情感和学习习惯的基础。
【教学过程】
Step1:Greetings and free talk
1. T: Hello boys and girls, How are you today ?
S: We are fine, thank you .
2. T: I like English very much. Do you like English?
S1: Yes, I do.
T: What do you like?
S2: I like…(practice in pairs)
3. T: Do you like animals?
S: Yes, I do.
T: Good. Let’s play a game together.(Listen and guess)
(复习pig,horse ,chicken, duck,引出mask)
Step 2:Presentation and Practise.
1.课件出示一个购物场景,A mask shop.学生购物。运用购物用语:
A: Can I help you?
B: Some …,please.
A: What masks do you like ?
B: I like…s. I like …s.
A: Here’re your masks.
B: How much are they?
A:… yuan, please.
B: Here you are.
A: Here’s your change
2.教授change(学生跟读单词)
3. Today we will learn a new lesson. Unit 4 Halloween (学生跟读单词)
(1) Students try to say something about Halloween.
(2) Introduce the festival “Halloween”
T: Halloween is on 31st of October.(师介绍Halloween相机教pumpkin lantern, mask,horse并用Do you like…? I like horse masks.What masks do you like? 与学生对话)
(3) Learn: What do we need? thing
It’s very interesting. But what do we need?(引出need并教授)Teach some new words and the sentences
T:We need to buy things for the Halloween party.
(学习单词things,要求学生分组讨论所需物品)
Ss: We need some flowers/sweets/masks/pumpkin lanterns.
(引导学生回答,学生回答时出示相应物品的图片,学习有关单词:)
(4) 与学生交流的过程中学习:What else do you need?
Step 3.Learn the text.
1. T:Now, class. We have so many things. We can have a Halloween party. Now, this family is going to have a Halloween party. Let’s watch and answer the questions:
(1)Where are Ben and his family?
(2)What do they need ?
(3) What masks does Ron like ?
2. Watch the cartoon and answer
3. Listen and read
4. Listen and judge

5. Rewrite and dialogue

(设计意图:把刚学过的单词和句型设计成一首英语歌曲,配上学生熟悉的《新年好》的旋律唱,让学生通过唱英语歌曲,复习刚刚学过内容。同时活跃了课堂气氛,吸引了学生的注意力。)

b. Copy the four skills words and recite them.
c. Make a dialogue.(选择其中之一)

【教学反思】
在教授本课内容时,我主要采用了“随风潜入夜,润物细无声”的教学方法,让学生在不知不觉中学习新知识,掌握新内容,从而保持他们学习的兴趣。在新授内容时,通过师生自由交谈,听听动物的叫声复习动物引出mask.然后创设购物情境,以旧带新,复习购物用语的同时有学习了新的单词change。由众多面具图片导入到本课主题:Halloween。学生在听老师介绍“Halloween”这一节日中完成本课单词和句型的学习,并通过创设“为了开Halloween party”买东西的情境,练习句型。为了保持学生的学习兴趣,我在整体呈现课文后,用本课的新句型和单词编成歌曲让学生唱,既巩固了新知,又提高了学生的学习积极性。最后,我通过多媒体向学生分段呈现本课课文,遵循“由易到时难”的原则,让学生在听课文、理解课文的基础上做题,从而掌握课文内容。
